At The Process, we help athletes eliminate the "Fear of the Mistake" and reclaim the joy of the game. Are you playing to survive or playing to dominate?
Fear of Failure: Stop playing tentatively and start attacking.
The "Mistake Loop": Learn to reset instantly after a bad shift.
Pre-Game Anxiety: Turn high stakes nerves into elite-level energy.
Identity Shift: Separate who you are from how you play.
The Slumping Scorer: You have the skill, but the puck isn't finding the net.
The Defensive Anchor: You need to maintain absolute focus for 60 minutes.
The Elite Prospect: You're ready to transition from "good" to "unstoppable" by mastering the inner game.
In hockey, the difference between a goal and a missed opportunity isn't just physical speed, it's mental processing. When the game moves at 30 miles per hour, your brain has to move faster. At The Process, we don't just talk about "playing hard." We bridge the gap between physical talent and elite performance by fortifying the one area most players leave to chance: The Mind.
We don't provide a "one-size-fits-all" manual. Our approach is exclusive, focusing on the individual architecture of a player's psyche. How we approach these breakthroughs is our secret, but the results belong to you.
Through a specialized counseling framework, we eliminate the mental "noise" that leads to hesitation. We don't change your mechanics; we change your relationship with the game.
The most dangerous player on the ice isn't the one with the hardest shot; it's the one who is mentally unbreakable. Are you ready to stop overthinking and start playing?
For over 35 years, I have lived at the intersection of elite athletics and psychological resilience. As a former varsity athlete at the Kent School and Lake Forest College, I understand the weight of the jersey. Today, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I've dedicated my practice to helping athletes from high school prospects to professionals navigate the mental barriers that physical training alone cannot solve. My approach is practical, structured, and grounded in the reality of the game. Whether leading a team to a USA Hockey National Championship bronze or guiding a family through the complexities of D1 recruiting, my mission remains the same: building athletes who are as mentally unshakeable as they are physically gifted.
